Buyers will be happy to know that 2020 Nissan Navara comes as improved large machine for the middle class. Unfortunately, it is not planned to be sold in the US, where its twin-brother Frontier is waiting for the buyers. So far Navara will have a diesel engine in an offer with the possible hybrid unit in higher trims.
When future buyers see how the 2020 Nissan Navara looks like, they will recall not only Frontier, which was obviously an inspiration for this version, but also Isuzu D-Max which shares many similarities. However, there is recognizable, but slightly redesigned rhomboidal chromatic grille with horizontal bars and redesigned front lights. There are new skid plates as well as rails on the truck, all made in chrome. The rear end comes as not much changed, with simple rear lights and chromatic hands. The model is also obviously enlarged a bit.
The cabin in 2020 Nissan Navara is as well-equipped as great designed and comfortable. However, do not expect too much of the details and equipment, since the model is in the middle of the class. There is a simple but approachable dashboard with the new infotainment system and great details. In term of technology, there are things like Bluetooth connection, air condition, and cruise control. Navara also comes with upgraded safety package.
There are only two engine options that come with new 2020 Nissan Navara and the third possible option if the manufacturer fulfills the promise they gave. The base model is actually a diesel engine, a 2.3-liter economic and simple, but strong that produces even 210 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The higher trim could be equipped with the 3.0-liter petrol engine that produces 290 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. The manufacturer has not confirmed that this engine could come with the electric engine in combination, even though we know that Nissan has great hybrid vehicles in the offer. There could be found another, 2.5-liter classic petrol engine, but it is also not confirmed yet.
2020 Nissan Navara Release Date and Price
Being a cheaper and poorer version of the Toyota Hilux, 2020 Nissan Navara still has to many features to offer. With the starting price of the only $23,000, it could be a very interesting replacement for the models in high class. On the other hand, wide price range, with the highest price of even $45,000 tells that we should be prepared for the great things that Navara can have. However, if you are interested in buying this model, you should wait in the middle of the next year.
