2020 Jeep Wrangler is surely on the road, even though we were not being able to see how it will exactly look like. As the matter of fact, it seems that Wrangler had the thickest protection that has ever been used on test driving. Maybe the manufacturer wanted to keep the news away from curious journalists or to move our interests on new Jeep Scrambler for a while.
As we were able to see, although that was not easy, 2020 Jeep Wrangler will not change its well-known design too much. There is visible flat and wide front end and there are no reasons that it is not the same gridded grille with rounded front lights. However, the rear end has not recognizable flat tire, and we do not know if that is the new design of just a rough version of it. The model remained the same square shape and flat roof, too.
With this thick protection on the truck that we saw on test driving, it was really hard to see how the cabin of 2020 Jeep Wrangler looks like. We expect rough but attractive roomy cabin, with only needed and important commands, but still with a touch of luxury and elegance in details. The manufacturer has not made this car to be comfortable, but practical and the cabin fulfills those demands.
The most interesting information about the engine in 2020 Jeep Wrangler is that it will be a PHEV hybrid engine. That means even improved electric engine than it is used on trucks and vans. It seems that the manufacturer is not satisfied with the combination of 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine paired with 16 kWh lithium-ion batteries that are used on Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, for example, but it will use something different, perhaps stronger. Which exactly engine will be they have not said yet.
2020 Jeep Wrangler Release Date and Price
It is still not for sure if everything we said here is expected to be seen in new 2020 Jeep Wrangler, but if it is, the new truck will be very attractive and practical for the next generation of the buyers. With great engine performances and a new hybrid engine, it will be even more wanted. However, the manufacturer has not said clearly when to expect new Wrangler, as well as how much it will cost. We are sure that the price will be higher than on the current model. In case that you forgot, the base model had the price of $45,500 while higher trims go higher than $55,000.
