2020 Dodge Avenger comes after two years of pause since manufacturer obviously invested in crossovers and large vehicles. However, people always loved this car, mostly because of its elegant shape and design. Firstly made in 1995, it had its long existence since 2014 when the manufacturer made the last model and finally withdrawn from the market. Then they released again but again stopped without explanation. Now is time to see how they changed and adjusted to market demands.
Long waited changes in the design of 2020 Dodge Avenger are finally here and we are thrilled to see how it is made this time. Looking from the front end it has great details on recognizable wide mesh squared grille, separated on four. Below it is wide metallic part and then thin air intake. The rear end is wide and luxury, with few sports details, like the wide spoiler on the trunk and irregularly shaped rear lights. Thanks to the sloped roof and long trunk the car looks longer and larger, with obviously lot of space for cargo. The sides of this luxury long sedan are chubby, but without details and dents, and the attractive shape of the windows, especially the rear ones. We think if it goes on the market again it would be similar to Dodge Charger more than Challenger.
The cabin in 2020 Dodge Avenger should be as roomy and spacious as before, with many novelties and changes in term of technology. There is a wide and modern dashboard with visible chromatic parts, and a large touchscreen in the middle of it. However, other parts, like air vents are traditionally shaped and designed, attracting attention to all buyers. The steering wheel is very attractive and unique, decorated with details in chrome.
Even though the manufacturer has not confirmed the engine types and strength in new 2020 Dodge Avenger, we have reasons to believe that they will not be much different from the current ones. The base model should have 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 185 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. The second option is 3.5-liter V6 that produces 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Both should be paired with the nine-speed automatic transmission.
2020 Dodge Avenger Release Date and Price
2020 Dodge Avenger has expected a large redesign after two years of waiting, and as we were able to see, it will be very attractive and interesting model, much different from the old ones. However, many of the things we said here are rumors, so clear information will be known later. Be prepared for the large change that is for sure. The price for the last model was $20,000 for the base model, but we expect a slight jump.
