According to our sources and some recent spy photos, the Japanese carmaker is planning to bring another redesigned crossover to the market. Namely, the new 2019 Nissan Pathfinder is going to represent an excellent choice for you and your family during those long journeys. It will hit the roads as a 2019 model and receive some significant updates.
The spy photos that our team has got recently show a heavily camouflaged prototype of the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder during its testing session. However, based on these photos and lots of rumors, we have managed to get some information about the changes and improvements this model will undergo. The 2019 Pathfinder is going to make its appearance as a three-row midsize crossover. You should not expect that anything revolutionary will happen, but the new Pathfinder certainly will not look as a family SUV. It will show some curvier and sleeker features and appear more modern and sportier. It will probably be offered in such trim levels as S, SV, SL and Platinum. The front and the rear end should reveal a brand-new styling. In the front fascia, you will probably find a restyled grille and bumper. In the back part of the vehicle, this model will offer a new set of LED taillights. The Pathfinder will stand on standard 18-inch wheels, but its Platinum trim could get 20-inch.
The interior of the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder will reveal a spacious, modern and comfortable cabin that will be significantly upgraded in many ways. The cabin will provide three rows of seats that will accommodate up to seven passengers. The third row of seats will be suitable for children. You can also fold it down in order to get more cargo space. Nissan will use some high-quality materials inside as well as leather in higher trim levels. When it comes to technology, you will get a 4.0-inch information display and an 8.0-inch touch-screen display with the latest infotainment system and features such as navigation, satellite radio, keyless entry, air conditioning, USB, Bluetooth and others. Safety systems and driver assist features such as automatic emergency braking and rear-seat alert system will be included as well.
When it comes to engine that the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder will be hiding under its hood, two options have been considered. One of them includes a 3.5-liter V6 that delivers 260 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque. It will get a front-wheel drive system as standard and an optional all-wheel drive. The other version could come with a combination of a 2.5-liter supercharged inline-four and an electric motor. This hybrid system is expected to produce 250 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque.
