According to our sources and some recent rumors, it seems that the well-known Nissan Frontier is going to get its successor – the Navara. Although these two pickup trucks have been very similar, the next-generation Nissan Navara will definitely bring some serious updates and improvements as a 2019 model.
When it comes to exterior of the 2019 Nissan Navara, this pickup truck is definitely going to appear much more modern and attractive than its predecessor. Also, it will have larger dimensions, which will provide more space inside the cabin. Such large dimensions will make this truck seem massive and aggressive, especially in the front fascia. The new Navara will proudly wear its restyled radiator grille and a massive bumper with large LED headlights in its corner. The LED headlights with LED daytime running lights seem inspired by those found on the popular F-150 model. Down below, you will notice a thin air intake. You will probably love the new Navara because it will look less off-road. Its sharp and edgy styling will be replaced with some more elegant, smooth and sleek features. This truck will stand on 16-inch wheels as standard, but it can go up to 18-inch in higher trim levels. Another improvement on this model will happen in terms of suspension system which simply promises better safety, stability and handling, not to mention overall performance.
Due to its larger dimensions that we have already mentioned, the 2019 Nissan Navara will provide more spacious and comfortable cabin for its passengers. Nissan will use some high-quality materials to furnish the cabin and cover the seats, even leather in higher trim levels. Speaking of higher trims, you can also hope for heated front seats that will be power-adjustable in 10 ways. The driver will also get a multifunctional steering wheel and modern dashboard. Nissan will significantly upgrade technology and get a 7.0-inch touch-screen display with the latest infotainment and entertainment system. It will provide next-generation features such as navigation system, climate control, USB ports and various connectivity options. Airbags, seatbelts, adaptive cruise control and ABS are just some of the safety systems and driver assist features that will be included.
When it comes to engine that the 2019 Nissan Navara will use under the hood, there have been more than one possible option. It might get a 2.5-liter twin-turbo four-cylinder with 200 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The other bigger version includes a 4.0-liter petrol engine that hits up to 261 horsepower. However, these have not been confirmed yet and we hope for more information soon. When it comes to transmission, the new Navara will offer either a six-speed manual or a new seven-speed automatic.
