2019 Jaguar I-Pace Review

Jaguar revealed its new I-Pace concept at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. The British Company has announced that the I-Pace is going to appear as a 2019 model and it will represent Jaguar’s first electric vehicle. It will come with two electric motors and a battery pack.

The spy photos could only reveal the camouflaged version of the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace, but we will try to rely on the concept car as well. In the front fascia, we have noticed that the bumper will be a bit different while the grille and the headlights will remain the same as the ones seen on the concept car. The front hood and the entire lower section have been redesigned and seem less aggressive. Looking at the side profile, we have got the impression that most of the concept features will be kept on the production model. For example, the first thing that caught our attention was the coupe-like roof. The side mirrors will be larger while the wheels appear smaller on the production model. In the back part of the vehicle, we could notice that the slim taillights have been clearly based on the F-Type and F-Pace. The rear bumper and a roof spoiler will get a redesigned look while the air diffuser seems race-inspired.

When it comes to interior of the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace, we have not got much information after seeing the spy shots. On the other hand, the concept car reveals that the cabin will be largely inspired by the F-Type. It will be ultimately modern with the improved hi-tech features. You will find two screens in the center console and one in the instrument cluster. The steering wheel will get less buttons though. The new I-Pace will also provide the Jaguar’s latest infotainment system. It has been expected that only leather and high-quality materials will be used, giving the cabin a touch of luxury. Also, the panoramic glass roof will complete the impression of sophisticated and comfortable ride inside this electric beauty.

As we have already mentioned in the intro, the 2019 Jaguar I-Pace will be equipped with two electric motors and a battery pack. This information has been confirmed by Jaguar, although the other details about the powertrain have still been a mystery. All of these combined should be able to deliver 394 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The concept has also shown that it will need 4 seconds to hit 60 mph while the estimated top speed is 155 mph. We hope that this will not change with the appearance of the production model.

2019 Jaguar I-Pace Release Date and Price

The electric Jaguar I-Pace is going to appear as a 2019 model, but the release date has not been confirmed yet. It is certain that it will not be cheap, so the starting price could range between $50,000 and $55,000 before options.
