2019 Chevrolet Corvette Zora ZR1 is the eight generation of the model and the first one that offers changes and improvements from the traditionally fast, but modern race car as Corvette. The changes will be made mostly in terms of design and cabin equipment, but the engine will also be improved and even stronger than before, made to be used in the racing sport together with daily city driving.
As we saw on spy photos and heard in rumors, 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Zora ZR1 will be a more aggressive designed car with many new details in combination with old-fashioned and recognizable parts. The most aggressive is the front end, with large wheels and few curves on the hood. There are also thin LED front lights incorporated in hood line and wide air intake on the bottom. The rear end is more traditional, with slightly redesigned lights and few more curves and lines.
Everybody will like the interior of 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Zora ZR1 that is for sure! Made of dark red leather in shape of the egg, but with enough space for passengers and taller driver, the cabin looks like the futuristic oasis for fans of luxury in combination with sportiness. Even though some of them will recognize a part of the aggressive look that is already seen in Ferrari, it should not be bad in combination with largely LED touchscreen and LED ambient lights that are one of the decorations in the cabin. Technology should be the best in class.
As current Zora ZR1 has the strongest engine in the class, there are expectations that 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Zora ZR1 could have the same, 6.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine as on current ZL1, too. That engine currently produces 700 horsepower, but many fans expect even more than 800 horsepower in the new engine. The fact that it reaches the speed of 60 mph for only 2.8 seconds should satisfy those buyers who will be disappointed with automatic transmission as the only one.
2019 Chevrolet Corvette Zora ZR1 Release Date and Price
There are many speculations and rumors about 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Zora ZR1, even though the first model was shown in April 2018. The reason is too many questions about this new model and surely one of the greatest futures in racing that manufacturer predicts to this car. The price of $150,000 should not be too high in that case, as the other models in class like Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8 cost almost that much.
