Audi revealed its concept of E-Tron Quattro back in 2015 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. By 2018, this model tends to hit the market with its sporty design and upgraded performances. The new Quattro will belong to a series of next-generation all-electric cars.
According to the information we have got and based on the spy photos of the camouflaged 2019 Audi E-Tron Quattro, it will certainly undergo some unique changes in style. In the front fascia, we have noticed that a redesigned grille will be shorter and wider. The headlight, however, will remain mostly the same and recognizable. They will be using the latest LED technology and have a sleek design. We could not but notice that there will be some differences between the concept and the production model. For instance, these can be spotted especially on the side profile, in terms of roof and rear door glass. A large overhang can be expected in the back part, although we have not got much information about the taillights. All in all, many would compare the new Quattro to the new Q6.
The interior of the 2019 Audi E-Tron Quattro has still been a mystery, but according to spy photos and our sources, it will probably keep most of the features earlier presented inside the concept. Inside the cabin, you will probably find a flat-bottomed steering wheel and the modern dashboard. On the dashboard, you can expect digital instrument cluster and center console with several touch screens including the one with the latest infotainment system. That means that the new Quattro will provide various connectivity and entertainment options as well as the expected safety features. Leather and high-quality materials will be used to furnish the cabin. However, since the battery pack will be placed into the floor, we only doubt the comfort and the headroom capacity, especially in the rear seats. We hope that this will not present much of a problem and that all the passengers will be properly accommodated.
We have already informed you that the 2019 Audi E-Tron Quattro has been planned to be all-electric vehicle and that the battery pack will go into the floor. The new Quattro will also have a large electric motor that will be placed up front while two smaller ones will go back. The battery pack is expected to have a capacity of around 95 kWh. It has been estimated that all these combined should be able to deliver 429 horsepower. The expected time that the new Quattro will take to hit 60 mph is 4.6 seconds while the anticipated top speed is 130.5 mph.
