The new 2018 Toyota Highlander is coming soon, this crossover SUV is for people who don’t plan to go frequently off road and at he same time want to save and to be in comfort. The new Highlander have a very nice looking grille which have the masculine look and the large chrome-bar divides the upper portion of the grill and it is intersected with a large Toyota badge. Every Highlander has projector beam halogen headlamps, LE Plus and above have fog-lamps and LED daytime running lamps. The ground clearance is 8.0 inches. Standard wheels are 18 inch alloys and limited models have 19 inch alloy wheels. All models have heated power mirrors with built in turn signal indicators. It have a muscular rear with a nicely integrated spoiler.
Leather interior and push button ignition is standard on the XLE trims and above. The LE and LE Plus trims comes standard with a 6.1 high resolution touchscreen. The moon-roof is standard on XLE and above. The material quality of the Highlander is very nice it features stitching on the dash and soft touch materials on most surfaces. It have a lot of storage space and one specially for sunglasses. The sound system have 6 speakers and descent sound quality.
2018 Toyota Highlander Engine
The 2018 Highlander comes with three different power-train options. The engine which is standard only on LE is 2.7-Liter I4 that produces 185 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. Standard on a LE Plus and above a 3.5-Liter V6 engine which produces 270 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque and this engine you will find in most Highlanders. However a Hybrid model is available which account for the third engine a 3.5-Liter V6 paired with a nicelhidrate battery which combined can deliver up to 280 horsepower. Gas engines will get six-speed automatic transmission while the hybrid model gets a CBT. Regular V6 new Highlander comes standard with TWD and the FWD is available.
2018 Toyota Highlander Price and Release date
According to the rumors this crossover will be released in the beginning of 2018, probably it will be presented on New York auto show.
