2018 Mazda BT-50

2018 Mazda BT-50 is supposed to be the third generation of amazingly strong and large truck, very popular in past and surely one of those which buyers wait impatiently. Even though the manufacturer has not confirmed this information yet, we should expect this version very soon, according to rumors. Most of the changes have been made in the design, making the vehicle modern and redesigned, while other information about engine strength and power are not surely known by now. Many experts claim that we should expect stronger and faster engine than before. Time will say if they were right.

At first glance, 2018 Mazda BT-50 is a strong and massive truck, with many interesting modern details and changes in size and shape. The impressive rounded front end has wide mesh front grille with chromatic lines over it, with large LED front lights at the ends, perfectly incorporated in hood line. Below them are two air intakes on the sides with small rounded fog lights. For new buyers could look interesting new chromatic wide skid plates and flat roof. The rear end is not only modern and perfectly designed for large trucks, but also has additional protection on the bottom with a step for easily entering. Even though there are no visible curves and lines, the whole car has soft edges.

The cabin in 2018 Mazda BT-50 is as impressive and attractive as outside look, so there are no many things which we could complain about. First of all, it is roomy and spaced cabin with plenty of space for tall passengers. Simple designed flat dashboard made of quality plastic has traditional button layout below the 6.0-inch touchscreen. As the manufacturer has been satisfied with previous models, we expect the same level of luxury and high-technology in the cabin. Simple seats have a combination of quality fabric and leather.

As we have listened to rumors so far we will continue with that in expectation about the engine in 2018 Mazda BT-50. It is most likely that there will be offered 3.2-liter 5-cylinder diesel engine with 198 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual and automatic transmission. The second option could be smaller 2.2-liter 3-cylinder diesel engine with 148 horsepower. As test driving showed, the best combination of the 3.2-liter engine for lowest fuel economy should be manual transmission in combination with the all-wheel driving system and in that case fuel economy is around 26.4 mpg.
