For some reasons, the manufacturer has decided to change 2018 Honda Jazz even though the last model has been changed a lot. However, those changes are not in terms of design, as we expected, but mostly in terms of the engine strength and variations and cabin equipment. It has always been a car for families and younger buyers, so many buyers should not expect many luxury details in this car. On the other hand, Jazz is as well designed and equipped as many models in high class, offering acceptable features for those who will use it for daily driving and duties. So, if you want something that competes with Yaris, you should buy Jazz or Fit, as its name is in some countries.
When you see the special shape of the front end of 2018 Honda Jazz that looks like letter V supported by familiar LED front lights, you will recall current Civic, which was the main inspiration for Jazz. You will also see plastic protection on the bottom of the car, together with large air intake on the bottom of the front bumper. The rear end is slightly higher and has a flat truck door with simple lights and tow exhausts on the sides of the bumper.
Even though 2018 Honda Jazz looks as a small car, the cabin is surprisingly roomy and well designed. Thanks to the two colors of fabric in there, together with perfectly shaped and designed dashboard, it looks even warmer and attractive. In terms of technology, the manufacturer offers keyless entering and starting, rearview camera, lane departure warning and cruise control. All should be controlled from a 7-inch touchscreen. The manufacturer also said that buyers in Japan and Europe could get slightly different cabin than those in the US.
There will be large differences between engines in US and Japan, according to the manufacturer. Buyers in the US will get 2018 Honda Jazz with the same engine as on current model and that is 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol unit that has 117 horsepower. It should have a six-speed manual transmission which could be different in higher trims. Japanese buyers, on the other hand, can get a hybrid version of this engine together with RS sporty option in some trim versions. Those should also have a six-speed transmission. We still do not know anything about fuel economy and speed, so that information will be known later. As far we do not expect many changes from the current model.
2018 Honda Jazz
Buyers in the US will be able to buy 2018 Honda Jazz at the end of 2017 for the very attractive price of only $15,000 for the base model. Other countries should wait for a little for their versions.
