2018 Honda CR-Z

Many Honda fans could be surprised with 2018 Honda CR-Z, mostly because that model has marked very low selling in past years. Some information said that they sold only 1,000 models. In case that you are not sure why there is an explanation. When it was made, it is presented as CR-X successor. That could be true, but the problem was a hybrid engine under the hood which pretty much-killed strength and speed of the hot-hatch car that this Honda should be. So, many people wondered why Honda should not place a petrol engine only and make a strong competitive hatchback as we expected. That is how we got this car.

Exterior

As we said, 2018 Honda CR-Z is a successor of the last model CR-X; so many details on this car are actually taken from that model. Some fans will recognize the same design and shape on this car. There is an elegant and wide front end with mesh grille shaped in letter V, and with chromatic chrome line in the middle of it. The rear end is sportier, very wide with the metallic bottom and highly positioned spoiler on the top of the truck door. The car lies on wide 20-inch tires for better stability.

Interior

Not only that 2018 Honda CR-Z has many high-tech devices inside of the cabin, but the manufacturer placed all commands for those devices right in front of the driver. That means that dashboard is overcrowded with so many buttons, but still has well-designed position and layout. The cabin is comfortable and roomy.

Engine

Although we heard that 2018 Honda CR-Z will be equipped with two engines, it is more likely that they will offer only 2.0-liter four-in-line VTEC petrol engine with 300 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. As the manufacturer said, there will be only offered a rear wheel driving system together with six-speed manual transmission, which pretty much slows the car, but thanks to the lightweight materials the car is actually for 200 pounds lightweight, meaning faster. The speed of 60 mph increases for 5.5 seconds, slightly slower than competitors, but still fast enough for a hatchback.
