2018 Honda City Review

Honda has been on the market for decades and it always brings something new. This time, it will be a refreshed 2018 Honda City. This information was revealed in April, this year. Fans should not expect any drastic changes and improvements, but it will rework some exterior and interior features and equipment.

The new 2018 Honda City is going to appear refreshed and with sharper body lines. Perhaps, it will be a bit more sporty and aggressive. It will be available in four trims, as we have been informed, so the equipment you get will depend on the trim you choose. As we could have noticed, this four-door sedan has undergone most of its significant changes in the front fascia. The new City will get new grille together with a redesigned front bumper. The grille will be inspired by Honda’s ‘Solid Wing Face’ design. Down below, the air intakes will appear smaller. Also, we have noticed new set of headlights with LED daytime running lights and the fog lights will also be using the LED technology. It has been said that the 2018 City will be standing on a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels with multi-spoke design. In the back part of the vehicle, you will notice a new sportier bumper that has a honeycomb trim piece in the lower part. The taillights will also be redesigned. The new City will be available in new body paint color – Cosmic Blue.

Inside the 2018 Honda City, you will find a modern and spacious cabin. The seats will be redesigned and comfortable. On the instrument panel there will be new trims and the air vents and gearshift will be new as well. Honda has always paid attention to technology. This time, too, the interior will get its hi-tech features, infotainment, entertainment and safety options. There will be a 7.0-inch touch screen and the latest infotainment system will provide options such as satellite navigation, audio system, climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, hands-free, USB ports, voice commands and rearview camera. These will, of course, depend on the trim level you choose. When it comes to safety, Honda will include features such as adaptive cruise control, electronic brake, anti-lock brakes, smart entry system, emergency stop signal, dual front airbags, dual side and curtain airbags, vehicle stability assist and hill start assist.

The 2018 Honda City will come with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC engine that will deliver 118 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque. It will be mated to a five-speed manual transmission on the lower trims while the higher ones will get CVT or a seven-speed mode. Eco Mode and Eco Coaching will be available as well.

2018 Honda City Release Date and Price

The 2018 Honda City should make it appearance later this year, at some of the great auto shows. The price of the base trim will probably start around $15,990.
