Exterior


Essentially the GMC Acadia was last heavily updated in 2013 and what hey than did is they introduced some new taillights designs, new headlight designs as well some LED daytime running lights for much more premium look. However the GMC Acadia in this body stile has been out since 2007 so it is getting slightly dated in this body style. The overall look of this car is much more sharp and blocky. The grill is nice and big rectangular shaped with large GMC badging. The rear view camera is standard even on the base model. The wheels are very nice handsome looking 18-inch alloy’s. It have full LED tail lamps and rear parking sensors.

Interior

The whole interior design looks decently premium in the Acadia, and when they updated it in 2013 they give in a much more premium look with nice stitching that goes around the whole dashboard it looks much more high quality tahn it used to be before 2013. Build quality and materials is pretty medium for this crossover class. The steering wheel design is gennting a little dated but it is still leather wrapped with nice soft feel. Seats are coated in leather and they are really comfortable as well. 4G LTE and Wi-Fi hotspot are also standard in all models.

Engine

The new 2018 GMC Acadia offers just one engine which is a 3.6-Liter V-6 that can put out 281 horsepower and 266 pound feet of torque. The power from the power-train is transferred to the road thru the six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive but you can choose the all-wheel drive which is optional. With this V6 engine it can haul cargo and people very well with its 5200-lb towing capacity. EPA fuel economy rating estimates are 17 mpg in the city /24 mpg on the highway, and combined rating is 19 mpg that is with FWD. AWD ratings are 16/23/19 mpg.

2018 GMC Acadia Price

The price for the GMC Acadia is ranging from $34,900 for the base SLE trim and goes up to $50,615 for the highest Denali version. Main competitor are: Dodge Durango, Honda Pilot, Ford Explorer, Hyundai Santa Fe, Mazda CX-9, Toyota Highlander and Ford Flex.
