Known for its fast and elegant cars, the British brand of Aston Martin has been preparing a new 2018 model – Valkyrie. The concept was first revealed in July, 2016. This model will be available in road-legal version as well as a race car. This sounds promising and you can expect ultimately excellent performances that will not let you down.
Speaking of exterior, the new 2018 Aston Martin Valkyrie definitely belongs to a series of next-generation supercars. Its chassis will be based on Red Bull’s Formula One design and created in collaboration with famous Adrian Newey. So, the new Valkyrie will be based on the AM-RB 001 prototype. This model will be using a lightweight construction, mostly made of carbon-fiber. The first feature that catches your attention is probably its short nose and an aerodynamic shape. It has been said that this car will replace the usual side mirrors with rear-facing cameras. The small badge on the nose will be redesigned as well as the stop light which has been announced to be the smallest ever. In the back, you can expect a long rear-deck and the new Valkyrie will also be equipped with butterfly-type doors.

We have not got much information about the power train that the 2018 Aston Martin Valkyrie will be hiding under its hood and its specifications have still been a mystery. However, all we know is that you can expect the powerful V-12 engine, but its power will be revealed in the future. The new Valkyrie should take 2.5-seconds to accelerate 0-60 mph. It has been announced that it will use a race-spec transmission and be based on rear-wheel drive system only.
